Halaman, tembok dan kapur

Sekarang emang lagi trend, salah satu tembok di bagian dalem rumah di cat dengan cat tembok hitam, supaya sang anak bisa corat-coret, belajar nulis, gambar dan sebagainya di tembok itu.. as if that's a huge blackboard :)

Tapi ide itu sepertinya kurang cocok diterapkan dirumah ini. Selain saya yang sudah terlanjur cinta tembok-tembok putih disini, papa punya alergi debu yang bisa bikin dia bersin-bersin. Berhubung si kapur ini memang produktif sekali menghasilkan debu setiap kita pakai..

Walhasil, tembok luar nan polos, yang sudah lama di cat abu-abu tua itu pun jadi sasaran pengganti papan tulis tembok. Ga perlu repot-repot hapus, karena habis hujan pasti hilang.. trus bisa gambar lagi deh.. *happy*

Debunya pun terbang bebas, ga bikin kotor lantai *happylagi*

Dan akhirnyaaa kapur-kapur di laci kepake juga.. yayayyaaa

Hallo... i'm Farra :)

Happy Birthday Farra

Time flies.. 

Ga terasa Farra sudah 2 tahun. Semakin berat untuk digendong-gendong, semakin ceriwis, semakin tau maunya apa. 

Seperti halnya anak-anak diumur 2 tahun, Farra pun aktif dengan gencatan pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang apaaa aja. Udah mulai minta apa yang dia mau, dan bisa menolak sesuatu + alasannya kenapa ga suka.. 

Setelah tahun lalu batal karena Farra sakit mata, tahun ini saya dan papa memutuskan untuk merayakan ulang tahun Farra bersama beberapa tetangga, teman dan saudara. Acaranya dirumah saja biar lebih santai (plus hemat ;p ). 

Dekorasi dan pernak-pernik buat sendiri, kecuali Happy Birthday (plus topi kertas) yang dibeli sejak tahun lalu ;p Menu makanannya juga pilih yang praktis: nasi bogana&madura, bakso kuah, somay ayam, sate buah, strawberry mousse. Plus cupcakes, snacks, candy and jelly for the kids.

New Blog Decor

Just like home, i'm thinking about decorating this blog. 

And this is iiitttt.. (ala chef Farah ;p) my new blog header! 

I change the picture of my scrapbook ornaments into something cute (hehee i hope so!). Something brighter, colorful and cheerio. Something that make me use my macpro and exercise my so-so adobe skills.

Now we can easily found printing shop that able to print direct to garment in Jakarta or Bandung (cost about 25k IDR/A4 size media). Let's create our own.. :)

Tie Dye. This kind of process that creates natural bright pattern is so happening today! Many wardrobe using tie-dye fabrics for fashion items, cloth, hijab scarf, etc. Why don't we use for cushion? Just like i found at houzz.com. Pretty...

Ikat Cushion. I'm really sure that Tenun Ikat is coming from my country Indonesia. But in fact, i found a lot of online shop or etsy that sells Ikat Cushion mostly are coming from abroad with pricing more than 1 million Rupiahs/pcs. Woowww.. i feel like been knocked, why i can't make it and sell it?

We've Moved

Alhamdulillah, we have moved now into our new house :)

Rumah yang dibangun melalui serangkain diskusi, brainstorming, kerja keras, hunting kesana-kemari penuh semangat sampai debat-debat ga jelas yang katanya pasti ada di tiap proses pembangunan rumah. Is it? Yes it is.. :)

Konsep bangunannya simple aja: hangat, less-maintenance & banyak cahaya matahari.

Hangat dalam artian tiap anggota keluarga gampang berkumpul dan berinteraksi satu-sama lain.

Less maintenance karena kita sadar waktunya ga banyak dirumah untuk bersih-bersih. Jadi gimana caranya supaya kalau sewaktu-waktu ga ada yang bantuin, rumah bisa tetep rapih dan bersih tanpa banyak effort.

Banyak cahaya matahari tidak lain tidak bukan supaya hemat listrik :)

Kalau konsep warnanya dominasi putih & natural untuk interior dan exterior.

Omong-omong tentang exterior meskipun si owner ini title-nya sarjana Landscape, ga banyak yang dikerjakan untuk exterior selain pilih-pilih tanaman yang gampang dipelihara dan ga ribet. Again.. i want a less-maintenance yard for my house (hahaa ketauan aslinya pemalas! ;p)

Anyway.. i put bright green for mine and orange for Farra's bathroom. Love the brightness spirit every take a bath in the morning. And my fave place so far is the white kitchen. We can do a lot of things here, cook (of course), eat, read a book, sewing and blogging.

Sebenernya banyak yang belum terwujud di rumah ini khususnya di perabot dan interior. Masih menunggu meja ruang tamu idaman yang sedang dibuat, masih nunggu bugdet turun buat bikin rak buku, masih pikir-pikir jadi pake wall paper apa ngga, hehee pelan-pelan deh yaa.. Kita ngumpulin duit dulu sodara-sodaraaaa.... :)

Kalau ditanya ngapain tahun baru semalem? Jawabnya tidur.. hehee seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Ngga lain karena saya memang bukan orang yang kuat begadang sampai tengah malam, apalagi kalau paginya habis main air seharian di Waterbom :)

#Project11

What is 'Project11' ?
That's my personal project > build a house. Not only a house actually - but i'm trying hard to build a home for my little family.

Why 'Project11' ?
Coz it's located in Kelapa Muda11 Jagakarsa.
Build in year of 2011 and hopefully it will finished on November '11.

It started in May 2011, designed by Meilani Martini my lovely sister, an architect graduated from Architecture ITB. Cooperate with Aqilla Contractors (Mas Danny) who is very cooperative and (i think) their price is reasonable enough (^_^).

Until today, it already finished about 40%.

I can say that this year is not that easy, since we are allocating almost all of our time and power for working to earn money to make it real!
Yeaahh right... we also limit our holiday!!

Can wait until it done and we move there....

Resolusi ngBlog

Ini emang agak aneh.. *wkwkwkwkk malu mengakui* tapi saya harus bilang.

Mendadak punya resolusi baru: 1x24jam blogger Diana Rikasari posting blog.. saya juga harus posting!

Bukan cuma sekedar ikut-ikutan, tapi biar saya agak termotivasi, setelah hampir 3 bulan ga nulis...  (-__-")

First Time Scrapbooking

I think i'm fallin in love with scrapbook since the first time i saw it. But i'm not confident enough to start, until several months a go.. when i suddenly curious in how to create ones. 

Then i started to visit those scrapbook counter. Came and back again again and again. Sometime for sightseeing.. sometimes only for small sticker or paper. 

Actually -for me- its not that easy to start. Having several sheets of paper, some quote stickers, fonts, etc doesn't give me idea how to make it at all. Until i see her blog! I knew her for the first time when she RT my twit about Inacraft last week. After that i checked her blog, then i know this lady is soooo creative, inspiring, and give me lots of spirit to make scrapbook. She owned paper craft and scrapbook store called BagusBagus. Anyway she is the designer behind Eat & Eat decoration, waaaa..... 

And finally, this is it.. :)

Farra di Taman

Weekend buat keluarga kami artinya waktunya main ke Pancoran.. ke tempat abang Rifdhan & Eyang Uti. Sabtu 16 April kemarin, on the way menuju rumah uti, ibu tiba-tiba pengen makan rujak.. mampirlah kita ke Taman di Kompleks Perumahan Liga Mas. Disitu emang banyak penjual makanan dan jajanan-jajanan..

Papa pun juga jadi pengen beli mie ayam. Ibu.. nambah beli gado-gado. Ahhh kita emang suka jajan!

Sambil menunggu makanan-makanan itu di olah, ibu ajak Farra main di taman Liga Mas. Eh Farra seneng banget.. main di besi berbentuk bola besar, yang dia bisa masuk, duduk, melangkah, sampe streching. Hehee.. terakhir setelah papa datang bawa makanan, diakhiri dengan main ayunan kayu.. :)

Jam kerja dan keisengan baru saya

Seperti cerita saya kemarin, mulai bulan April ini saya masuk kantor jam 9 pagi dan pulang jam 6 sore.

Berangkat ke kantor sih tetap sama seperti dulu pas masuk jam 8.30. Secara.. saya pengguna kereta Southline a.k.a Ekonomi AC yang jadwalnya cuma lewat jam 7.30 pagi dari Lt Agung. Tapi saya jadi punya waktu lebih banyak untuk ganti baju, cuci muka, bikin kopi, sarapan, dan yang terpenting mendatangkan mood untuk bekerja!

Sementara keluar kantor jam 6, masih belum berhasil dapet cara yang bisa bikin sampe rumah dalam waktu 1 jam. Cara tercepat, naik kereta express harus turun di depok, habis itu harus naik angkot lagi ke Lt. Agung. Meskipun bolak balik, naik kereta tetep lebih cepet daripada naik mobil sih.. tapi teteeep seminggu ini sampe rumah Farra selalu udah bobo :(

Eniweii, ini hasil keisengan baru saya sambil 'nunggu' di toilet.
